What is lip filler made of?

Most lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the skin. A key advantage is that it can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase if needed.

Duration and recovery

Lip filler usually lasts 6 to 12 months. Swelling and sometimes bruising are normal for the first 2 to 3 days, and the final shape settles after about two weeks.

A natural result

The right volume is set by your own facial proportions, not by someone else's photo. At the consultation, the doctor assesses lip shape, symmetry and smile line, and sometimes splits the treatment into two sessions.
